Course Proposals

We are currently accepting course proposals for the Winter 2023 session for classes and programs that begin January 9 - March 31, 2023. Completed proposals can be emailed or mailed; please refer to the CONTACT US section located on this page. 

Volunteer Instructors

Do you have a unique skill or knowledge of a subject and are looking for a great way to give back to the senior community? Help share that knowledge by volunteering to present your life experiences, skills, and interests with seniors.

Volunteer instructors share their computer skills, health and wellness and creative knowledge to enrich the lives of adults 55 and older. If you are interested in volunteering please email Jenn Amerman.

New Instructor Process

  1. Review Instructor Handbook: Orinda Contract Instructor Handbook (PDF)
  2. Submit a completed Course Proposal Form (PDF) with Resume and References attached to the department.
  3. If selected, a Recreation Coordinator will be in contact with you soon.
