About the Council

The Orinda Teen Advisory Council is a group of high school and middle school students that works with city officials to organize fun events for their peers. All teens are welcome to join and need only to attend meetings.

OTAC provides the perfect opportunity to:
  • Organize events for the community
  • Gain leadership experience
  • Participate in a model government
  • Work with city leaders and teens from other councils
  • Earn service hours
  • Have Fun

This year's events included 2 movie nights, Holiday Bazaar Kid's Corner, Sibley Regional Preserve invasive plant removal, Orinda Action Day, and implementation of Red Watch Band Training along with monthly donation drives that help out groups or charities in our local community.
