2020 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The work to be performed generally consists of pavement rehabilitation and storm drain improvements of 7 roads and crack seals of various streets within the City of Orinda. The pavement treatment methods include Mill & Overlay and Micro Surfacing and base failure for both type of treatment. Work to be performed also includes replacing storm drain pipes using open trench or rehabilitating storm drains using trenchless technology, replacement of curb and gutter, concrete or asphalt lined ditches and asphalt dikes, pavement striping, lowering and raising of utility covers, replacing detector loops, locating and preserving survey monuments and filing of appropriate record documents with County recorder’s office.

The City Clerk will receive sealed bids at the City Offices, 22 Orinda Way, Orinda, California 94563, ONLY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened at the City Offices and read, for: 2020 Annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project. Contractors who wish to attend the bid opening MUST abide by the latest Health Order issues by the Contra Costa County Health Department. The City Clerk has the right to deny entry to any person who does not follow the requirements stated in the Health Order.
